Herfstblaadjes-1

Although many tourists flock to France during the hot and crowded summer months, perhaps the most delightful time of year to visit the South of France is autumn. The first leaves are falling down and the cold, violent Mistral winter winds have not yet arrived. The days are sunny and breezy and the temperature warm, but not too hot. Leaving that kitchen door open makes you enjoy even more the relaxed Provençal way of life. It makes you wish the early days of fall would never end and you could stay in Provence forever…

Beautiful! Salmon colored drape over the doorway and the “Mistletoe” like bunch of grapes hanging over head is very inviting. Those solid slated outer doors will provide great protection against those strong cold dry northerly winds of winter you mentioned. Thanks for sharing.

You saw and read that right Larry! I believe my description of a Provencal autumn and upcoming winter in a nutshell has succeeded… 🙂
