Winter is the time for comfort,
for good food and warmth,
for the touch of a friendly hand,
and for a chat with neighbors, close friends and family.
It simply is the time for us to head back north.
But not before enjoying the Provence till the very last moment,
squeezing out every last ray of sunshine, sound skies and some sweet animal companionship… 🙂
If winter comes,
spring can never be far behind,
and autumn must be in full swing.
A memory that lasts forever, never will it die, if only because of this blog.
We don’t cry because it’s over, we smile because it happened and feel VERY privileged.
Every ending has a new beginning.
That is why, to us, winter is not a season, it is an occupation.
It is amazing to discover that despite the pleasant warm and sunny summer days,
we are, at this very moment, in the perfect season and place to prepare that Next Important Step!
Other Ways
Roads we left for other days,
paths and fields and other ways.
No time left to double back,
To see what treasures thus we lack.
Broader ways we must explore,
leave back feelings we abhor.
Walk the roads of other days,
that mark the changing of our ways.
