I remember during my (much) younger years in Fort Worth,Texas that my dad used to take me to airshows at a local airport called Meacham Field. A small airport with dito airplanes which I loved to go watch because they had a level of cuteness and because they made me dream, of flying high in the sky ! Well, I found a similar one, thirtysome years later, under the ever blue and pretty sky in Provence 🙂
L’Aéro-Club Du Comtat Venaissin
The ‘L’Aéro-Club Du Comtat Venaissin’ (L’ACDCV) and its staff are pleased to welcome you all year on a platform ideally located at the foot of Les Dentelles de Montmirail and the Mont Ventoux, in the heart of the Vaucluse, a fairly high tourist region.
Each year, many hours of flights are performed by owners of the planes that make up the fleet of the club. Installed on the airfield Edgar SOUMILLE in the Vaucluse, the ACDCV enjoys a pleasant and favorable framework for the practice of many activities, as evidenced by the presence of many other associations in the field. Beyond its aerospace business, the club is a friendly place where pilots often find themselves even when they do not fly.
The main activity of the ACDCV is training new pilots. This training is provided by multiple volunteer instructors. For licensed pilots, development of new devices and navigations are possible.
The ACDCV organizes aeronautical gatherings and restaurant outlets. These events allow the encounter with other pilots of other flying clubs in the region.
