Lunch break @ Côté Cours in lovely Saint Didier!

Restaurant Côté Cours

Côté Cours is a friendly restaurant, nestled in the heart of the authentic village of Saint Didier.
The perfect place to meet with family or friends, and taste a cuisine full of flavors.
On beautiful days, a splendid shaded terrace makes it possible to spend a pleasant moment of relaxation under the old trees and next to the beautiful fountain.

Let’s eat!

Please click on the picture below to take a peek at their 2018 menu ‘à la carte’.
Of course, as usual in Provence, they serve a daily lunch menu at a VERY reasonable price.
The menu for dinner is always quite a bit more expensive.

Our choices of the day

After a nice walk from Venasque to Saint-Didier we decided to spoil ourselves a bit and go for some of their ‘à la carte’ choices and it was more than worth it!
So yummy and very decent portions!

Appetizer: artichoke heart au gratin with gorgonzola, toasted bread tuile, Italian dry ham
My main course: back of cod roasted with thyme butter, green asparagus
Henk’s main course: grilled beef fillet with fleur de sel, Rattes du Touquet (potatoes) and small vegetables
A delicious ‘café gourmand’ (a mix of different mini desserts with an espresso)

Stunning Interior

On my way to the bathroom, I was pleasantly surprised by the interior of this restaurant. Classy, warm, cosy with here and there a colorful painting…exactly what you are looking for on cooler or windy days.
