Lunch @ Les P’tits Bonheurs in Villes-sur-Auzon

The Little Joys of Life…

Restaurant ‘Les P’tits Bonheurs’ (translated ‘The little Joys’) in the small village of Villes-sur-Auzon is the best example of your Very Typical French casual restaurant with honest and delicious food at a reasonable price. The service is super smooth and friendly. Truly a must-visit for lunch or dinner!

Pan-fried tuna rolled in sesame seeds, served with soy sauce. Very Yum!
Entrecôte with fries for the hubby
And of course, a pichet of Provencal rosé

On the patio

Beautiful details and challenging flavors, cozy on the road, yet private enough, the patio has our preference!

Pets are very welcome, so are bikers in sweaty outfits 🙂

From the first sunny days to the last, Julie and Manu welcome you on their shaded terrace.

Let’s take a peek inside!

Since they’re open from mid-March till the end of November, it will be most likely that you will have to enjoy your lunch or dinner inside during the cooler months. As you can see below that is not a punishment at all because the owners sure know how to create a friendly and warm atmosphere.

Even though we mostly visited this lovely place spontaneously, I advise you to give them a call in advance during high season…Popularity has its price! ♥

A stroll in and around Villes-sur-Auzon

Nestled at the foot of the Mont Ventoux, Villes-sur-Auzon, a small village of 1300 inhabitants, remains essential for the discovery by bicycle but also on foot in all quietude.

Thank you for your comment Emma and we are glad to read you appreciate it as much as we do. The fact they close in wintertime… hey, give them a break. If they don’t get to rest or to travel in wintertime, you most probably won’t get the same quality and friendliness in spring/summertime!

We have visited almost every year since Julie and Manu first opened around 15 years ago. Often we’ve stayed in Villes itself but on a few occasions it’s meant a 2-3 hour drive!
I endorse everything you say about Les P’tits Bonheurs and the village. Delicious food, welcoming service and lovely ambiance. Veggie friendly too.

Hi Peter, thank you so much for your lovely comment and apologies for the late reply. Somehow I must have missed the notification of your comment. Indeed, the most down to earth little Provencal restaurant! Glad you enjoyed the article! Kind regards, Indra
