Looking for a nice restaurant with good food, a warm welcome and excellent views in the middle of the ancient village? Look no further, this is it! Make those reservations at Les Remparts and get down there because they’re almost finishing their season which runs from Easter till and including the first week of November. Their phone number is 0033 (0) 4 90 66 02 79.
Location
The restaurant is located just a few steps from the beautiful fountain in the center of the village. You can’t miss it because there are plenty of signs all over the village.
Inside or outside?
At Les Remparts you can sit either in the interior dining room, a large sun room or on a small outdoor terrace with views over the valley on sunny days. We have done both but it really depends on the weather. To be honest we prefer to sit inside at a ‘table veranda’ which offers you a truly amazing view and allows you to open the window for a little breeze in case it gets too warm. The terrace however is insanely cute but if you’re not sitting at one of the two first tables besides the fence, we always feel a bit locked up. But that’s a personal opinion of course…

Menu or à la carte
Les Remparts offers a number of ‘prix fixe’ menus, including a vegetarian menu for 27 Euros. Quite rare in Provence! You can click here to see all the menus.
Let’s eat!
Oh my! Each plate tasted as good as it looks! Fresh, light and elegant dishes. We could eat there every day!
The bill pls!
Quality/price ratio is simply correct. Their refined cuisine takes its source in the heart of our Provence and combines delicately
the flavours of the terroir to innovation and creation.
From the panoramic veranda or the romantic shaded and flowery terrace, the sunset
on the hills delights the eyes as well as the delicious and delicately decorated dishes by the chef.
The team is young and smiling and the service is attentive. Les Remparts this year is as good or better than what we remember!
Some general impressions of Venasque
As soon as you’ve paid the bill, we recommend you to head out to walk about the village and take some pictures. The views are simply breathtaking!
