Restaurant ‘A Ventoux’ in Mazan

Restaurant ‘A Ventoux’ is located on the first floor of wine domaine Château La Croix des Pins in Mazan, with access via the sales premises of the château.

Contemporary Provencal cuisine

The owners Dominique Peters and Frédéric Michel offer traditional yet modern Provencal dishes, prepared with fresh and local products in a cozy setting in the heart of the vineyards, at the foot of the famous Mont Ventoux.

Their philosophy

Their saying is “eat and taste with simplicity”. Their lovely, very reasonable priced and almost daily changing ‘Menu du Jour’ (Menu of the Day) is certainly proof of that! Excellent food, from delightful amuses to delicious desserts, friendly service, cozy decoration, delicious wines and all that for a very reasonable price… what else could you wish for?

Menu of the day

Some of the delightful dishes we chose

Caillette provencale and its condiment of aubergines, capers and tomatoes
Tomato gazpacho, pineapple with basil oil and pan-fried prawns
Coalfish fillet on a bed of thick risotto, garnished with double-headed beans and carrots
Milk chocolate pannacotta with caramel and chocolate chips

Cosiness everywhere

At ‘A Ventoux’ it’s all about details…that make you smile! 🙂 🙂 🙂

A la prochaine!

Another plus point for the Dutch and Belgians among us in this restaurant is the’ Flemish’ speaking chef, Dominique. Besides being an amazing cook, she is super friendly and speaks four languages. For lunch you cannot eat ‘à la carte’ but hey, that’s totally ok, because the variety of meat, poultry and fish, the beautiful setting and the delicious wines definitely make up for that.
Don’t hesitate and make your reservations now!
