The South of France had a very rough day and night yesterday filled with an ENORMOUS amount of rain. Floods everywhere around the coastal area, Cannes has declared a state of emergency, unfortunately also 21 people lost their lives in this heavy storm. In the Vaucluse, we are all right, without too much damage, just a beautiful damp morning in the Valley…

    We know what you mean about Coastal flooding here in Coastal Virginia! Whew! But, this is a beautiful aftermath. Makes me want to breathe slowly and deeply! Thanks for sharing

      A beautiful aftermath indeed Larry…and a peaceful one. We enjoyed a day reading in the soft autumn sun but the victims of last nights flooding were never far away. Bless their beloved ones…
